A householder extension in Stoney Stanton has been judged not to be incongruous in the street scene. Upon appeal, CN Planning used urban design expertise to demonstrate the Council had failed to properly analyse and appreciate the varied and non-uniform character of a modern housing estate in reaching its decision, with the Inspector finding it would not cause harm to the streetscene – it reflecting similar forms of development in the vicinity.
