Condition varied despite significant objection

A condition limiting the use of an assisted care unit to occupants over the age of 50 was change to over 18s following a lengthy application process, with two trips to planning committee and a site visit. The application attracted 246 objections from local residents raising concern as to potential disturbance from occupants and associated vehicle movements. However, CN Planning was able to quell such fears when convincing Councillors to vote for the variation of condition, noting that the operators had a good track record of operating such homes elsewhere.
